The Bloomington-NormaI Public Transit System (B-NPTS) operates its eleven (11) fixed routes Monday through Saturday excluding these holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Buses do not operate on Sunday. Information regarding hours of service for specific routes is listed in the schedule information box on the Fixed Route Map/Schedule file. For additional information you may also contact the B-NPTS at (309) 828-9833 (voice) or (309) 828-7511 (TDD) from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM (Monday through Friday) and from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM (Saturday).

All B-NPTS buses are equipped with lifts to accommodate people who cannot use steps to board. Route buses also "kneel": the first step of the bus is lowered to assist riders who have difficulty boarding. Drivers do not routinely extend the lift or "kneel" the bus. If you require this type of assistance, please ask the driver to kneel the bus when he or she opens the front door for boarding.
